In collaboration with local communities, BHF developed a project to construct a self-reliance secondary school in Zeve-zeve Village, Zambia with a special focus on Economically Challenged but Intellectually Gifted learners in rural communities.

What BHF School Project will provide ?
Well-established Selection Criterion
A well-established BHF selection criterion in line with the Ministry of Education will be used. With close collaboration with the government education boards in all of Zambia’s 10 provinces, high-performing but underprivileged learners will be recommended. Then BHF provincial coordinators will select the most deserving learners after conducting intensive background research and interviews. Every academic year, 2 deserving students, a male and female, will be chosen from each of the 10 provinces of Zambia.
Professional Teaching Staff
The school will initially house 60 learners drawn from across the 10 regions of Zambia in the spirit of One Zambia One Nation. Given that these learners will come bearing past traumas which can be physical, psychological and spiritual, professional teachers and counselors will be employed to impact knowledge and guidance to the students.

The school will focus on offering MELTS (Mathematics Engineering, Life Studies, Technology and Science) based curriculum for BHF School graduates to be competent for university entrance anywhere in the world.

Donations are strictly used for the purpose for which they are made. They can either be made for our existing projects or for a cause that you as a donor believes in.
